The interior cabin space consists of two single cabins forward (for the children) and one double cabin in the stern. There is a head forward, near the childrens' cabins, and another aft. The cabin just forward of the aft cabin is called the pilot's cabin, but will be used both as a private space for the adults and as one of the workspaces for on-board schooling. The other workspace is the navigation station, also on the starboard side, between the pilot's cabin and the saloon table.

The galley is on the port side, oposite the navigation station. Instead of separate and enclosed space for a pilot house, the steering station is merely a platform above and between the galley and the navigation station. This allows the light of the pilothouse windows to bath the entire central cabin/saloon area, giving us the grand space that will be the center of most of our activities below decks.

The last interior space is a total enclosed engine room with standing headroom and a workshop space. The engine is directly below the cockpit, the floor of which can be removed in order to provide easy removal of the engine for repair or replacement.

Finishes

The interior will be finished in white plastic laminated plywood, birch, and beech. It will look something like this:
