While preparing
Mother of Perl for her 2007 launch, Capt. Ben Smith
fell approximately ten feet onto his back and fractured one of his
vertebra. Injuries of this sort take a long time to heal, so Ben
decided to use the money he had budgeted for the three months of
cruising in 2007 (and some additional funds) to improve the decks and
hatches, and clean and paint the troublesome areas of rust. This is
all in preparation for putting the boat on the market.
Mother of Perl is now available for purchase. The asking
